DoorWISE door tool set consists of 3 tools: Door Pal, Door Rollin and Door Jim. They work together to make moving, handling and hanging doors much easier and faster. Since there are 3 three separate tools they can be easily adapted to doors of all sizes and in any position. How to install a door with DoorWISE tools |
1. Straighten the door and maneuver the Door Pal with one foor to engage it to the corner on the lock edge (pic. 1). The door may be in either vertical or horizontal position. Be sure to tighten the 2 clamps securely to the door (pic. 2). |
2. Attach Door Rollin securely to the mid point of the stile (pic 3). |
3. The door now, in effect, has four wheels and be moved or maneuvered in diagonal (pic. 4) or horizontal position (pic. 5). |
4. Hinges can be conveniently installed on the door when it is in horizontal position (pic. 6) and then moved close to the door frame where it is to be hung. |
5. The door can now be tipped into vertical position ready for hanging (pic. 7). |
6. Using the Door Jim as shown (pic. 9 & 10), the door can be "jimmied" into position to align the middle hinge to hinge mortise on the frame. (pic. 9). For ease of making this alignment, the hinge stile can be adjusted to proper height with height adjustment knob (pic. 8). |
7. Apply one screw on the middle hinge to the frame (pic.11). |
8. Unfold the lifter (pic. 12) and use it to lift the hinge side of the door to proper position to apply the second screw on the top hinge to the frame (pic. 13). |

9. The rest of the screws on all hinges can now be applied to secure the door to its frame. |
10. All three door tools can be attached to a "moving stick" for ease of transporting (pic. 14). |
